Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using PlaySportMate you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users: athletes, clubs and event organisers.

2. Description of service

PlaySportMate is a free platform that allows you to:

• Find sport partners in your city
• Discover sports clubs and facilities
• Sign up for amateur tournaments
• Organise tournaments (for registered clubs)

The service is free for end users and sports clubs.

3. Registration and account

Access to PlaySportMate is permitted exclusively to persons aged 16 or over. By registering you declare that you meet this requirement. PlaySportMate reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts of users found to be under 16.

To access the full features you must create an account. The user is responsible for:

• Providing truthful information during registration
• Keeping login credentials confidential
• Immediately notifying unauthorised access to [email protected]
• Not creating multiple or fake accounts

4. Code of conduct

The following are prohibited:

• Posting offensive, discriminatory or unlawful content
• Using the platform for spam or unauthorised commercial communications
• Attempting to access other users' data
• Creating fake profiles or impersonating other users
• Publishing non-existent or fraudulent tournaments or events
• Using automated systems (bots) to access the platform without authorisation

Violation of these rules will result in suspension or deletion of the account.

5. Tournaments and registrations

Tournaments are organised by sports clubs registered on PlaySportMate. PlaySportMate acts as a technology intermediary and is not responsible for:

• The accuracy of information published by clubs
• The actual running of tournaments
• Any disputes between registrants and organisers
• Injuries or damage during sporting events

By registering for a tournament, the user agrees to contact the organising club directly for any communication relating to the event.

6. Intellectual property

The PlaySportMate trademark, logo and software are the exclusive property of the controller. User-generated content (profile photos, descriptions) remains the property of users, who grant PlaySportMate a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

7. Limitation of liability

PlaySportMate is provided "as is". We do not guarantee continuous availability of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time. For material changes to the terms, we will give you at least 15 days' notice by email.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the competent court is that of Naples (Italy).
